Founded in 1988, Missouri S&T Racing, formerly known as UMR Racing (University of Missouri-Rolla), has been a proud competitor in the Formula SAE Series, continuously pushing the limits of design and performance. Over the years, our team has evolved into a powerhouse, achieving significant milestones such as our first overall victory at Formula SAE Virginia in 2008 and expanding into the European competition circuit in 2012. Today, we build on that legacy of excellence by focusing on key events such as autocross and skidpad, always striving to raise the bar in vehicle performance.

At S&T Racing, our mission is to equip the next generation of engineers with the tools, skills, and confidence to become leaders in any industry they pursue. We achieve this by offering students a platform to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world, large-scale projects. Every year, our team designs and builds a new race car, providing hands-on experience that cannot be matched in a traditional academic setting.
